Thanks Pete.............Also The Greaser is the nuts.
I've been taking helicopters apart just to re-grease
the bearings with the proper tool. Thanks again...Al

I had occasion to use the greaser for the first time
last week. I'm very pleased! I bought a used
Xcell Pro I from a guy about 100 miles from me.
Before the first flight, I decided to perform std tail
rotor gearbox maintenance: greasing and re-Loctite
bearings to the shafts. However, this time, I
also re-greased the bearings for the gearbox and the
control bell crank. I am very impressed.
The Greaser is very easy and effective. I
believe the bearings were pretty much out of grease
because they weighted significantly more after using
The Greaser. I don't have a gram scale (I need
one,) but it was obvious to me; even my fiancé could
determine the heavier bearing with ease. Also, I
didn't notice any "old" grease come through
the shield, only the 76 grease you sold me. It
was just as easy greasing the small bell crank
bearings.
I am a little upset that I have a new maintenance task
and data to keep track of (when was X bearing last
greased?) But, I'm confident that this task will
result in a smoother, more reliable and longer lasting
helicopter.
The Greaser is a "why didn't I think of
that" innovation. I hope you got your
patent!!

Hi Pete,
I just received your Greaser and love it. I read your
FAQ and found it
very informative.

Hi Beavis,
.............Would you be interested in evaluating The
"Greaser"? Most on the
rec.modelheli. news group value your opinion. I do
sometimes :)
I'd be happy to Pete. (Only sometimes???? :-)
I am willing to send you one for that purpose. No
strings attached, you call
it as you see it.

Hi Pete. I received The Greaser today and I had to try
it out. I used it on My Xcell and I'm really
impressed. I cleaned the exterior of the bearing (as
you said to do in the instructions) and put it in the
greaser. The bearing went five years and about 25
hours of run time with no maintenance. I couldn't
believe what those bearings were running in. Looked to
be lubricants from fuel with a whole lot of dirt or
dust mixed together. I'm addicted! I'm sort of a clean
freak in the first place, so this will fit in perfect
with all of my other favorite tools. Really easy to
use and works great. Thanks again.......
Fred.

Hi Pete:
Finally got
the Greaser out of the box and used it for the first
time tonight!
ABSOLUTELY
FANTASTIC!!!!!
Took new
bearings from BOCA and flushed out the stock grease
and put in my own High Speed Bearing Grease, similar
to your recommended grease. Since
it's winter up here now, I'll be working on all my
machines to get the high speed bearings, cleaned and
re-greased.
Thanks for
inventing such a great tool!

Dear Sir:
A friend and I purchased one of your greasers each at
IRCHA this year I
have have to say that it is a must have for all heli
pilots. I just
disassembled my machine over the weekend to grease up
the bearings,
only to have found that there was no grease in the
bearings to begin
with. I would have to say that probably by the end of
the year I would
have had to replace all the bearings if it were not
for your greaser.
The machine runs much smoother and is even more quiet
than it was when
it was new. Thanks again for such a great product.
.................
You may contact me at jklabnik@bigfoot.com or

Again, thank you for your time and thank you for such
a great product.

Dear Pete,
/........................The Greaser is
fantastic! I couldn't believe how
well-made it was:
it looks like an aircraft part. I also like
really like having the
cover so that I don't have to clean the Greaser each
time and can
always have it ready for use.
I'm amazed how well it works even with bearing shields
in place.
In fact, after cleaning the bearings in solvent and
drying them, I
put the shields back on before using the Greaser.
(Note: Removing the shields is not necessary-Pete) I
think it packs
them with fewer voids that way. It also forces
out any remaining
traces of solvent.
/..........................Bottom line: with the
Greaser, I can now pack 16 bearings from a
pair of skates in a few minutes. It now takes
much longer to clean
the bearings than it does to pack them.
Please feel free to use any quotes you want from this
letter in your
marketing. I really can't say enough good things
about the Greaser and
the terrific service I got from Precision RC
products. Thanks a million!!!
Best regards,
Mark

Thanks for
the update. It was "sitting" at the post
office........................
So I do have
'The Greaser' now and I must say it is an excellent
device! I never realized how poorly of a re-packing
job I was doing until now, but to see the dirty grease
flow out of even shielded bearings, that is
proof-positive of a great product.
I guarantee you will be
satisfied with "the greaser" or I will buy
it back no questions asked.
